I thought the Scouts and Cubs acquitted themselves extremely well this morning. They looked smart, appeared (from where I was) to be excellently behaved and were a credit to the Group.
It was good to see so many young people showing the appropriate respect and they reflected all that is good about Scouting and all that is good about young people today.
I felt very proud to be have been appointed chairman to such a group and I hope you will pass on my comments to them.

A busy meeting last night, (10th November '09), inspections, games, Gang Show presentation, prep and planning for the formal meal, 4 new scouts invested, all the PLs & APLs invested and Patrol badges confirmed and given out.
